Your Ear Health is Our Priority at Mobile Ear Wax Clinic

Services & Treatments

What services do you provide?
We offer professional ear wax removal using two safe, effective methods:
Microsuction – a dry, precise technique using gentle suction
Warm water irrigation – a controlled water‑based method ideal for softer wax
Every appointment includes an ear health check and personalised aftercare.

Treatment Methods

What is the difference between microsuction and water irrigation?
Microsuction uses a small suction device to remove wax without water. It is clean, quick, and suitable for most people.
Water irrigation uses a gentle stream of warm water to flush out wax. It is effective for softened or loose wax and is often preferred when drops have already been used.

Safety & Professional Standards

 Is the procedure safe?
Yes. Both microsuction and irrigation are clinically recognised and safe when performed by trained professionals. We assess your ears first to decide which method is most appropriate.

Care Home & On-Site Visits

Do you visit care homes and supported living?
Yes. We regularly provide on‑site ear care for care homes, assisted living, and residential settings, making the process easy and accessible for residents.

Appointment Duration

How long does an appointment take?
Most appointments take 20–30 minutes, depending on the amount of wax and whether one or both ears need treatment.

Comfort & Pain Levels

Does ear wax removal hurt?
No. Both methods are generally comfortable and painless.
Microsuction may feel like a light suction sound.
Irrigation may feel like warm water gently flowing in the ear.

Preparation Before Appointment

Do I need to use ear drops before my appointment?
Using olive oil drops for 3–4 days can help soften the wax, especially if irrigation may be used. If you’re unsure, we can advise you.

Hearing Aid Support

Do you work with hearing aid users?
Yes. Hearing aid users can be more prone to wax buildup, and regular wax removal may help improve comfort and hearing aid performance. Please note: we do not supply, prescribe, repair, or service hearing aids.

Equipment & Technology

What equipment do you use?
We use clinical‑grade microsuction devices, medical lighting, and a regulated irrigation system designed for safe, controlled water‑based wax removal.

Aftercare & Ongoing Support

What aftercare do you provide?
We offer tailored aftercare advice, including how to prevent future wax buildup, when to use drops, and when to schedule routine checks.
